I sold a tailgate yesterday for $30, and used $20 of it for my racing entry fee today.

There were alot of rigs (most of them) in the Street and Trail class.

My first run with the Stepside was really good till I hit the standing water at the end and it killed the motor.

My second run sucked. My air cleaner was soaked and I wasn't getting enough air flow. It was slow going.

I borrowed a K&N Filter from one of the other racers and my 3rd run was fairly good. Opened up good and made a decent time.

My last run wasn't that great since I picked a bad line (ruts were all over the place and the mud was a bit thicker), so I spent most of that run trying to keep within the boundaries.

I still managed a 3rd place trophy for the Street and Trail class. 1st Place went to a rather attractive girl in a longbed Chevy. 2nd place went to a Ford. I know, I'm a disgrace. Oh well, at least it placed.

And the truck actually came home cleaner than when I left. Good thing for the high pressure fire hoses they had after the bog.
