It's a 93 2wd shortbed stepside Mark III. I'll get some better pics when I clean it and have some daylight. I have some plans for it and it might get an LT1. I plan to hang on to this truck and play with it on the street.

its ok as long as you hang onto the trail truck.

I say build an lt1 spec'd out to an lt5 specs, throw a 70's car 12bolt in the rear and a 4 speed from an old camaro/nova/chevelle.

It's still a Chevy. Honestly, I love the stepside Chevys of that body, and my brother had a regular cab fleetside that color. Nice truck, had the V6 and a 5 speed, looked really good with the air out of the bags in back (PO had put a rear drop kit with airbags for a load) I wouldn't mind owning it again, but it's turned into a beanermobile.:doah:

nice score ive been on the lookout for one of the 454SS trucks from that era

There is a chevy dealership here right now with a 90s style 454. Its in pretty good shape. The odds of them selling it any time soon will be slim to none, if your serious I can get you info. You could fly down and drive home.

probably would be cheaper to ship it:doah:

Sorry for the HIJack.

Jus for sh!ts and g!ggles, I called the dealership and asked about it. LoL...

1992 Chevy 454SS, 52k, $16,900.00 ...wow. of course he said it was negotiable. lol

Save your money , and instead of a real one they only made X number of for 3 years , just drop a warmed up 454 into a Sport model ( looked like an SS454 , but with 350 ) or any black shortbed and blac the chrome out . Grab a Suburban or K2500 semi floater , buy a set of aftermarket 5 lug shafts , and scare some Mustangs and Ricers .

You could even put the emblems on , but if you ever resell it as a real deal the Car Karma Gods will spit on you

First item of business: bigger meats:deal:

That's the exact same color as my brothers pickup, real pretty.

Ditch the ground effects and lower it 2" or so.

I almost bought one of those years ago. That bright purple color they had back in the 90's for a while. Only seemed to be on the 2wd trucks.

yea i duno if i like the ground effects, but the rest of it looks pretty sweet! i say LS1 swap, that would be sick :)
