Where should we meet on Sunday for the Coyote trail, I have not run this so have no idea where it is located?
Area BFE Friday -- Meet at area BFE parking lot @ 9AM?
Pritchett Saturday -- Meet at the city market @ 8AM?
Coyote Sunday -- Meet at ??? @ 9AM?
What about 2 start times?miniwally said:For Coyote we should just meet up at Area BFE. The trail is closer to the highway but I feel better about leaving the Tow rig sitting at Area BFE next to the highway.
Should we have an alternate hardcore run for Saturday in case Pritchett starts getting too big?
Might not be a bad idea, although I think a lot of people like to have one big run together as kind of a "CK5 event run", but I am open for ideas and if it makes the runs more manageable I'm all for it.Should we have an alternate hardcore run for Saturday in case Pritchett starts getting too big?

Hell's Revenge
Gold Bar Rim
Fins n Things
Porcupine Rim
I'll go with whatever the sheetmetal guru's decide.
) , so its Sheetmetal Gang again
James, the thing is those are the trails that Micheal and the rest of us ran last year. I think - and understandably so - he wants to do something different this year.jiminycricket said:I had put these forward for the sheetmetal guys like myself. These were suggested by mrk5.

Ideas for alt hardcore run?

jms said:I don't mean to preempt things (o.k., maybe I do a little...), but I'm putting these trails forward until I/we get a better idea who plans to go on SheetMetal Gang rides, how many we're going to be, and what equipment (tires/locker) everyone has. We might even split into two groups (e.g. open vs. one locker).
Hell's, Fins, Gold Bar, and Sevenmile Rim ought to be fine with open diffs, same for Metal Masher, can't comment on Porcupine rim, although Max said it wouldn't be too great with open axles and shiny sheetmetal. For Golden Spike, I'd like to see one locker - I don't think it would be too much fun open. But it also depends a little on the number of vehicles. So it would be very helpful if we could get a count. If I'm the only one that wants to go on 'Spike on Sunday, I might have to change plans. I'm flexible, and, by the way, I'm over the 'I-absolutely-have-to-run-the-hardest-trail' thing. If we have only a small number of open rigs, we can probably handle a trail that's a little more difficult. But going on a trail that's better driven with a locker is no fun if 75% of the rigs are open. So it's a numbers game...
In a perfect world that would be awesome, but...miniwally said:I get really fed up with the; I just need to go here and they are going there and then somebody else decides they want to air down at the trail head. Be ready to frickin' go and do it on time.![]()
