20 ft a stick...wow well there arnt very many place i can check to get a better price....that is the main supplier and i know cause i used to work at a machine shop and thats who we used to use...im thinking about getting 4x4 though if there is a big jump in price but i might want 6x4 just because...

Check in the phone book under scrap or used steel. Some of them have or know where you can find new steel for cheap. I would not be scared to use used steel as long as it's in good shape and straight.

i dont really need to run the whole length of the trailer either i just need the front and back done...but i might like the whole thing done prolly would look better...

well i looked in the phone book under srap metal and only found places that looked like recyciling places...nothing under used steel...i will have to call the scrap steel places tomm...

What if you found an old existing trailer that nobody wanted and you could scavenge some of the good frame rails or solid pieces that would fit your needs. Just a thought. Good luck and let's see pics when done.

yeah i thought about a ramp...but im just gonna make it so my fenders are removable...my tires are just a lil higher than the deck so i wont have to run over much of them...i was gonna go for a ramp but my fender sit really high and for me to be able to run over the ramp would be real hard if my tires were wet or muddy...im gonna copy formuds setup...

I like DPIs solution to the problem, but I have also seen guys turn a 2x12 or 2x8 on its side next to the fender for temporary bracing while they drive over the fender...between the strength of the board on its side and the steel fender, it is strong enough to drive over that way.
