Hello all. I am in the process of building my truck. It has a cucv frame & axles and i installed the ORD 4 inch shackle flip kit. I was wondering if anyone(ORD staff or board members) have a recommendation fro a trailer hitch that will fit with the flip kit. The truck will be a daily driver/part-time tow rig(if i can get a hitch that'll fit). Thanks for any help.

There is a fellow called Mrwhitels1 over on one of the other forums whom i think did a shackle flip with a stock hitch bracket setup in one of the last few videos he has on youtube. Wish I could tell you which video it is but I can't recall. I think he just modified the rear brackets near the tank/shackles some though.

We don't have any brand recommendations but you can just pick one and if it interferes there's room to trim the flip bracket or space the hitch down at it's contact points with the frame rail so it sandwiches the flip bracket. Not too big a deal overall. Trimming the flip is going to be the easiest solution I bet, it could be done with a grinder and cutoff wheel if necessary and it won't hurt to trim that bottom flange if necessary.
