Tranny Help W/6.2

more or less looking for a new torqu converter. i'm running a 6.2 and the tc isnt transfering enough power under heavy load. what stall speed should i be looking for in a replacement? and any recommendations as far as brands and part number?

I would look for a CUCV take out Torque convertor and/or a trany. There should be sombody parting a CUCV in Southern CA.

Remember if the torque converter has failed you need to replace the whole transmission and not just the torque converter.

I am assuming you have a th400 in a CUCV.
I have a new Diesel Torque converter but I agree on having the whole thing replaced or rebuilt.
I know shift management did a great job on my tranny for cheap and they have 18 month 18k warranty.
If interested I can find out what it is now.

yeah i still need to get it looked at, was just curious so i could start looking now. figured if i knew what i was talking about or had some info it would look better when i went in to get it checked.
