Hello

I have an 86 k5 blazer. Last night evrything worked well....today when I took it out the trans did not seem to want to shift out of 1st gear. I really had to wind it up very high before it would shift. Other wise when I wind it up really high and then let off it still does not shift, but it seems to go into like a stall and when I gen back into the gas it revs then engauges into 1st.....any ideas?

It does shift out of 1st if I tack it out and then it goes into second....

seems like something is sicking or something

mine is doing the exact same thing right now, it has been acting funny for the last couple years, so i am going to swap it with a different used one, then take my time and rebuild it
