Right now i have a lock up 350/208 in my blazer. I fried the tranny(the fluid looks like coffee) with my new engine and need to upgrade. i want to get rid of the slip yoke but try and keep my drive shafts. any ideas if a th400/205 or 350/205 are any wheres near the same length as a 350/208? Can you convert a 208 to a fixed yoke? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Thanks

I think the th400 and the th350 are the same lenght might be off a couple of inches. And there is an SYE kit for the np208 ORD has them. Some one will chime in with more info.

If you swap from a slip yoke to a fixed yoke rear output you will need to cut your rear shaft and weld a slip onto the tube. Your driveshafts won't "bolt right up"

I cant find a SYE for a 208 on ORD. What about the half dodge/chevy combo how do you do that?

Thanks

there are no good SYEs for the 208 other than the swap with Dodge parts, which is no cake walk, or so I have heard...
