trans help!! asap!

i think i need a new tranny, its not shifting out of first.. all of the oviouse things were checked and still no go.

so my question, can i take a "standard" 2wd turbo 350 or even a 700r4 and bolt it to my 4wd tail shaft and everything work???

i reaaaalllyy need help soon guys i need to drive to school first thing in the morning!!

You got reverse too?

There was just a thread that resurfaced about this, the governor gear was ground down. Fairly easy fix and easy to check too. Large round steel (not aluminum) cover on the driversside of the trans, towards the rear. Might have a metal clip over it. Pull it and pull the governor out.
