Transfer Case and Trans Linkage bushing Kit??

The trans and transfer case linkages on my 78 K2500 rattle like crazy when driving at highway speeds. I've resorted to bungy cords pulling the levers towards the seat to lessen the rattling, but what I really need is a bushing kit for the linkages. I can reach up from under the truck and dis assemble the transfer case linkages....no way on the trans. Is there a bushing kit made for this or am I SOL?

What case and trans?

Assume 465 and ? (205 or 203?)

My 205 rattles even with the factory wave washer, we need to come together as a community and stop this plague! I will certainly be figuring it out, springs or bungees are not going to cut it, unless it's some type of spring to go on the pivot bolt.

I just went through my 205 and the linkage was wore badly. I called ORD and they had a good used set, it made a big difference.

Ya, bungies AREN'T the answer! I'm always looking for something custom/ trick for a replacement, but maybe just new or good used replacement parts is the way to go. (Like biltit said)
I'm watching your linkage thread Dorian, so if something comes up be sure to keep us posted. I don't have time right now to experiment with different bushings....but a pre made repair bushing set would sure be nice.
