Drop for a 4"? or leave it in the stock location? Tuff country's website says 6" and up needs a drop.

the whole reason i ask is the one the PO put on is ghettofab couple big nuts with a bolt going through:rolleyes:. I'm swapping in a new trans and don't want to put it back on if I don't really need it.

drive around and see if you get any vibrations would be answer. some do some don't need to drop it seems....i just wrote on some thread here that i had to drop mine a bit with an old Rancho 2.5" lift many moons ago.

TC also reccomends a 6" lift for 35" tires too......

Isin't the drop what caused all your current grief?? I would do what ever it takes to get a flat belly even if it requires reworking spring pads and or the drive shaft.

i have a small drop on mine... and it kicks the distributor into the firewall... also puts a worse angle on front drive line.....
next year it will most likely go

I'm sure it contributed....would love to clock it but it's the figure 8 style:rolleyes:
