Yep, it's a bad idea. The holes on the 208/241's go to a brace that comes back up to the engine. This way the engine/trans/t-case rotate together as a unit. Bolting the side of the t-case to the frame is going to put the transmission in the middle of a tug-o-war as the engine twists. The t-case won't rotate when the engine does. So it ends up breaking the bell housing, t-case adapter, or t-case housing.Bad idea from what I understand. I'm gonna let @ZooMad75 tell you the story.
Hmmm...I assume that’s gonna have to be customized a bit. LS swap, 4L80E. Where exactly is the other end normally mounted to?
