Transfer case ????

It has a 32 spline input, which means it will mate to transmissions that have 32 spline outputs (i.e. TH400, late SM465's, etc).

He says it uses the figure eight adapter rather than the round pattern adapter (though I didn't think TH400's ever used figure 8 adapters).


Its a lot to pay for a 205, even if it is new.
 
Bolt a 400 or 4L80e in front of it and you are set to go. What else do you need to know?

I spent $600 for my rebuilt 205. I don't think it is that bad of a price.

I thought most th400s used figure 8 adapters. The round adapter didnt come out till 85. It also has the 32 spline outputs and modified shift rails which is nice. I think once my 205 is rebuilt (including swapping shafts) it will be close to 500, so that deal doesnt seem to bad to me.
