I have a '05 Buick Rainer that the trans crapped out on me. Im looking at another 4l60e Trans but cannot find what it came out of and if it will work. I do not have the tag information from the Buick but I have the Tag info from what Im looking at. Just nned to know if this will work for me.
The Buick is 4.2L AWD setup.

Thanks.

call the dealer with both vins and ask for a cross ref on the units .

lots of vehicles now have 1 or 2 year only trans or engines and even worse some have options in them ranges that limit it even more . best to call the dealer and verify .

Good luck that is an Atlas engine. GM Atlas engine doesn't share the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the other LS or small block Chevys.
So you'd only be able to get a transmission from another Atlas engine.
