Transmission just lost 3rd gear

Was driving to get mri and it kept going to neutral when just shifting into 3rd or just after.

should have when to Dallas and had Greg rebuild it......

Iirc it depends on which tail shaft the turbo 400 has. Tcase will need 32 spline input

Actually @Greg Ducato is in Weatherford which is this side of Fort Worth. if you decide to go that route I have truck and trailer. if not, I recommend AJ's transmission right down the road from you off Frankford.

which way? to Greg? I was offering to load it up and take it? to AJ? I can help there to if need be. if you want to drop the transmission at home I can help load it and take it to either one

ya sorry i meant drop it off have em rebuild it and then go get it , ill talk to that one and one other in the morning.
|wish i had the funds for that and the trust but i dont.

most tranny shops in my neck of the woods don't do "bench work" on transmissions,alot of mistakes can be made by installer,fyi. Not doubting your expertise,just letting you know.

the electronic trans are that way here, but if they wont do it ill take it somewhere else this is not electric

well the trans is out and to the re-builder in the morning

Lots of gold or brass color in the fluid, I thought the trans was not supposed to drain all the fluid in the pan
i drain the pan then an hour later it is full again

Drain back from the converter. The converter don't drain as quickly since it ends up flowing out through the pump.
