I have learned that kooler vlean top fits on brake cleaner can do this cooler and lines are now clear as glass....

P.S. carefull you don’t hose yourself in the face with a combo of the two it sucks ass

When my convertor failed, I was glad to have an auxiliary filter in line.
I also have a good sized plate type cooler mounted in line w the radiator cooler.

This is the one I used....has a port for a temp sensor. I used the port for the fan switch on the cooler.

i use my truck for working like a k30 was made for . plow snow / trailer pulling and daily driving all mixed in . i have a aux spin on with temp sender for gauge in there and the mid 60k mile orignal gm th400 has super clean fluid and no problems . i do need a aux cooler at some point for the long hills and trailer duty use . otherwise plow in low range and she is good with the oem rad cooler all the time .

It’s a 3/8 line cooler instead of 5/16 that’s on there
