Transmission kick down linkage?

Hey everyone,

I put my new Holley truck avenger on (sweet!!) and everything works great. I do need to adjust the cable that makes the transmisson down shift when you stomp on it though, cause right now it won't down shift. Anyway, I was wondering if I should pull that cable all the way forward until it stops and set it there (at WOT, obviously) or if there is another way to do this. The transmission is a TH350. I'd set it wherever the downshifts occur where you want them to. Since it's not a TV cable, position really isn't important except that it downshifts when you want it to.

I'd have it close to WOT myself, but if you like it lower, that'd be up to you.
