Transmission shaft Selector seal replacement

Its leaking and snap on has the tool to replace for $26.90 + shipping to replace without pulling or dropping the pan. Is there another way to replace without spending $27.00 ona tool I will use once?

Having the right tool for the job takes about ten minutes. That is assumong you stop for a cold drink. I haven't found an easier or better way. Good luck.

Does the tool come with pretty good instructions? and what's a good source for the seal?

Instructions.

Screw remover to seal. While holding remover turn in janb bolt to remove seal. Install seal with install tool and hammer of your choice. For the seal any part guy worth a ____ should be able to find it.
