get the convertor on the shaft all the way. then install tranny to engine. should go on smoothly. then you'll have to slide the convertor forward roughly 1/2" to bolt it tothe flex plate.

so i still cant get the torque converter to go all the way in but i didnt try much. but how can i know for shur when its all the way in? i guess there will just be no room in between eeh?

read this thread again. the convertor should slide on the shaft while spinning it. once it goes on no more it's ready to install.
