Stick with the 208. Its lighter and has a lower range than the 203. Swap the 350 over in place of the 700R4 and call it good. Do a search on how to make this work.
What is the intended use of the truck?
Swapping to the 350, you are losing an OD trans that has a lower 1st gear ratio and of course the more fuel mileage friendly overdrive. As far as the t case goes, a 203 is a big , heavy unit, that is great if you are thinking doubler down the road, but if I wanted an easy 208 swap I would lean more towards a 241.

TH350 isn't stronger than a 700R4. It is cheaper to rebuild though.

If you really want to swap to the TH350 you will need a shorter front drive shaft and a longer rear.
Personally, I wouldn't swap it. I like the really low first gear of the 700 while wheeling and crawling. I also like cruising at 70mph with ease.

yup, that 700r4 first gear makes 3.08s and 32s feel alot better. 4.10s soon....
