trash my smog pump?

hey guys do you think it would be ok to trash my smog pump on my 86 k5?? its only got the 305 and that emmisions B.S. is just gunna drag the motor for power?? what would you guys do

the bigger problem is the AIR pipes which block airflow inside the exhaust manifolds.

I don't have emissions where I live. All my smog stuff is gone. If you have to smog your ride then keep it on. I wouldn't get rid of it though....

I took all my smog off my 75' k-5. but this is california they tend change the rules as the game goes on ,so i keep those parts stored away.

no smog stuff on my Blazer..... I have hooker headers and dual straight flowmasters and passed emissions last October and got tags good for 2 years... I wonder if this had anything to do with my Blazer being previously owned by the border patrol...
Anyways, I'd check around locally and find out before removing anything.
