I have a set of tires i would like to try on the road force. Located one about 4 miles from me.
Interesting. Not what i wanted to hear. I was going to buy a set of the 285/75-16 guard dogs soon.
From now on ONLY MICHELINS FOR ME.
One of the reasons I don't mail order most auto parts, warranty issues that may come up will be a hassle.
I ordered tires from Tirerack once, everything went fine, but just the extra hassle of getting a place to install and balance them, then if something happened to the tires, sending them back and going through all that crap you are now, I just spend the little extra money and have a tire store acquire, mount and balance them right there, if I ever have any other problems, I just go back to them. Has always worked just fine for me.
As it has been I just buy the tires I'm running for the Burb and the Avalanche at Discount Tire. Comparing tire prices around, they are pretty comparable with most places I would deal with.
Free rotations and re-balancing as well.
