trimming fenders

ok. i get it now. alright completely off topic but just wondering. does anyone know where to buy a holley truck avenger carb for a 5.7 350 sub. and what cfm i should buy. 670 or 770?

get a 670 cfm. you can get them anywhere. speed shop, jegs, summit, etc. back to your lift. I did not lengthen my shaft with 6 inch springs and wheeled it fine. I did lengthen it when I went to 8 inch springs. Yes order the body mounts. you only want to take that kind of stuff apart once. trim your inner fender just below the lowets mounting bolt. not the one that goes into the fender the one that goes into the cab. it should have a large washer stacked on top of a square plate built into the liner. cut out fender FLARES cover up the edge that you cut.

ok. wow thanks for the help. im going to start it whenevet my dang tires and rims come. shouldnt be able to mess up to bad.

none yet. havent gotten the rims and tires. and its having a hard time running so its on stands. pretty dull looking if you ask me. ill post pics as soon as i can though.

yep. :D just havent been able to test it out. saving up money for the tires just did me in. those nitto's are in no way pocket friendly, but they have been getting great reviews and i didnt want some 37x12.50's. they seem just border line on 2 skinny if you know what i mean. i get my license in a couple weeks so i have to do the carb, intake manifold, and find a shop to put together an exhaust soon! But like i said. soon as i get it sitting right ill post pics. im also kind of an odd ball on the site. cause it is high school. So.... i regret it... but i had to go with some 18's for the rims. :o. all of these mods and no stereo. thats what im about. :D

thats cool and yeah having a big truck in high skool is cool, i've driven mine 2 school a couple of times and i have like the 2nd biggest truck there. the first is a farm boy with a 2003 f-250 with 38"s

What ever you do don't get a complete dyno max kit. the bottom shackle bolt rubs the collector flange on the header. if you are running manifolds you should be OK. 37" tire on an 18" rim isn't bad. you have 9.5" of sidewall still. thats better than guys running 33's on 15's. If you started a poll on who's running a stereo I bet the majority on here are not.

hate those f-series trucks. there is a 350 in the town near mine. and its all show. the truck is so huge. it has like 22" rims black on black. with i think 40's and he has about 8" between the fender and the tire. seems a wee bit to easy to flip and completely retarted. oh yeah i know most arent running stereos. its just all the other kids in my school have their ifs lifted f-150's and z71' and yotas. and they have all their fancy stereo equipment on a truck that they claim is the $h!t. Little do they know. oh how little they know. :wink1: Thanks for the tip on the dyno max. thats the exhaust i was thinking of doing. i do however want to run their blackjack or cyclone headers. they are cheap.:D
