It isn't actually Strump's Dump. Strump's Dump is on the South side of NE Highway 91. It is a quasi well known junk yard for tractors. I went to Strump's brother junk yard on the North side of NE Highway 91. It is a truck (and some cars) junk yard. It isn't really an operating yard any more, but you can still go buy stuff if you want (I want to so bad....).

These two pretty complete TBI Suburban's were sitting in the farm yard before you get out to the actual junk yard.

I'm guessing blown transmissions. I want the radiator support/grille.

Besides owning a junkyard, he also farms. Here you can see some of the vehicles on the South portion, across the corn.

A 5 speed Firebird.

The first C10, sitting along side the road out to the yard.

A 2 barrel.

Emissions sticker.

The first vehicle when you pull in.

Serpentine setups everywhere.

There are still a few old cars out there yet.

Another.

There are a LOT of old school buses. Back when it was actually a functioning yard, they were used for parts storage. Need a brake drum?

A divorced NP203.

A couple GM white spokes. There are HUNDREDS of 14bff's out there. Lost of Dana 44's too, but the 60's are all gone.

El Camino.

There are a LOT more to come.

More old cars.

Step side. There were a lot more '67-'72 trucks out there, than I took pictures of. They are not of much interest to me.

I did make it a point to try to get a picture of every '73-'87 truck I saw. This one had been a diesel.

Just a bunch of random truck cabs here.

Blazer top.

A lot of points out there yet.

Dodge NP208, that's the one I want for a SYE, right? There were quite a few Dodge trucks in this area, once again, no interest on my part, so very few pictures.

Decent amount of Internationals as well.

There weren't any Blazers in this part of the yard, but I saw several tops.

Even a few full convertible tops. Sad to think the rest has already gone to iron.

Check out the "stance" on that C10.

Short one set of louvers.

Too bad about the gold paint.

Old car, on old flatbed.

C60 I was looking for medium duty truck tach clusters. I hadn't been out there for several years, but on my last visit there were a few.

Big block.

Love the air cleaner base.

Alas, no tach. Even though I was told just the other day on Facebook, that ALL medium duty trucks have tachometers....

More big block.

427 GM Goodwrench crate engine.

Here is the truck it had previously been in.

That exploded big block is not a 5.0 Liter.

Old crew cab.

Couple old matching orange rigs.

Need a pulley?

There weren't too many Suburban's out there.

Big block on propane. There were a bunch of intake manifolds in this Suburban.

Another GM medium duty truck.

Another GM medium duty truck without a tachometer.

Air cleaner anyone?

The box was full of fans.

An old GMC V6 for John.

C20 Suburban,

Another C60.

Another C60 without a tachometer.

Another GMC V6.

This truck actually had a tachometer, but a 6 cylinder tach isn't going to do me much good.

A red painted Detroit. Someone had stolen the blower off the other side.

GM white spokes!

This was in the Jeep portion of the yard.

This truck has come a long ways from home to end up in a junkyard in central Nebraska.

Cragar SS with the center cap mounting area broken. Just for John!

That Impala was a pretty new car yet when it was taken off the road.

A few more Chevrolets.

That was all in the West lot. The rest of the these pictures are from that South lot, across the cornfield.

K20

What the eff is that?

Five lug. It has a matching rear axle.

C30 crew cab.

Finally some Blazers.

Solid floors!

A Ford crew cab.

Shortbox stepside.

V series Blazer.

Someone already made off with the radiator support/grille.

Never seen one of those badges before.

Another K5.

Diesel Suburban.

Cowl induction hood.

1987 TBI 4.3. I took the intake tube.

Need a tail gate?

A 6.5 TD.

K10 Suburban with clearance lights.

A buddy needs some parts off of an E150 for his Bronco, so I sent him this pic.

Plus this one to be a jackass.

Looks like a pot plant under the hood in the "serp setups everywhere" picture :haha:

I love old junkyards....better than museums in my opinion..:D

Your links to the other photos didn't work,I think..:(

Ever notice how poison ivy ALWAYS growns on the Chevy & GM parts you want the most ?..hope you didn't get it when you were looking at the white spoked wheels!..:doah:..

Out there I bet you have to be vigilant for rattlesnakes and wasps in the junkers..:eek1:

I think I actually emailed this guy before. There was a big list of project cars on Craigslist a few months back. The pictures I got were of like a 62 belair and a late 40/50s pickup.

There is marijuana growing everywhere out there. It is an annoying weed here in Nebraska, it is all over the place.

I want to know more about that 5lug 4x4?

Other than that, I am going to have to have you take me through there some time. I gotta see that in person.
