Trivia - How long will this tire last at 55mph

Long haul company I worked for many years ago had one of their cab over Internationals in the shop in New Jersey one night for some front end work and tires.....

The idiot working on the truck ( a new hire) changed out a bad tie rod end, and screwed the new one in all the way till it bottomed out.

He installed a new set of Bridgestone steering tires on the front axle and let the driver go.....

The front end had so much toe-in that the driver was pulled over in Texas by a State Trooper because his front tires were sparking driving down the road....

Yup.... the toe in was so bad, it ground all the tread off a brand new set of tires from New Jersey to Texas...all the way down to the steel belts....:eek1:

I did a burnout in one of my Camaros years ago. The right rear (both were turning over?) tossed the tread. The inner rubber under the steel belts was exposed, and looked like an inner tube. I drove home on that. Took back roads slowly. It was normally a half hour drive. Made it just fine. Let it sit over the rest of the weekend. Monday morning it was deflated. Aired it up, drove it into work, and at lunch break I took it into town and found a used tire to replace it.
