Trouble getting "replacement" axles from Superior

Just in case anybody is thinking of buying Superior Axles --DON'T ...!

I've had a warranty shaft in to them for > 6 months! I have recently been told by them that they "can't send me what they don't have".

Background:
I still run a D44 front..... [I know, I know..... boooo! ... hisss!!!!!] I've had Superior axles in my buggy since I got it running 2 years ago. After 1.5 years of hard off-roading, I broke an outer stub. This was April of 2007. I sent both axles [inner and outer] in for Replacement thru a local 4wd shop. [BTW, the 4wd Shop has done everything they can for me - I have no complaints w/ them]. Anywho, an upcoming 4wd trip has me wanting my Superior ChroMo's for a good wheelin' trip. Local Shop says "can't get 'em.... Argue.... Wait.... Get PO'd..... Call Superior and ask them what they can do for me.... and the customer service Rep basically tells me he can't get material so he can't make shafts! That's it....

No Superior axles....[.... and no marriages] for me...!

not the first time I hear bad stuff coming from Superior. post this on pirate & I'm sure you'll get something...whether that's good or bad, that's chance you need to take.

Sounds like its been an on going thing with them for the last year or so. There are quite a few threads on pirate bitching about it.

I bet they can get material, they don't want to lose there ass..
Did you ask for your money back?
