truck badass-ness scale

You know, in the pics you always see of that waterfall, you always just see the part you have to drive up. Not till your actually on that trail looking at it do you see the huge hole on the left waiting to swallow you if you slide off /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

When we were there, there were tire marks up the wall on the left. It looked like somebody had straddled that crack! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Pictures don't do it justice either. It felt like it was strait up and down.

Damn junior you been hitting the crack pipe again? Simmer down! Just remember I am the one that put the Billet inserts in the Jimmy, not you, and it was done to cover up the POS door straps that are always broken. The only other interior up grades you have are the console, and the Rhino Lining, otherwise it is stock.

Yeah, when we did it it was pouring down rain and windy as hell. Tony's truggy kept stalling on the climb and we only had 3wd due to a broken stub, it was fun! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

good for you, my truck will be driven in terrain you'd be scared to take your truck within 10 miles of.

What we have there is a childish and senseless waste of good parts and a risk of severe injury to show off.

Thats nice... I'm guessing your talking about rocks/trails and I have built mine to be a mud/sand rig and when I get a detroit and true trac..it should be a pretty decent one at that hopefully. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif I'm sorry, I wasn't trying rub anything in about money at all, I was just saying... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
$7K of that is in stereo/rims/windows/grille stuff that basically just makes it a nicer truck but the other $10K was on the drivetrain. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

He tried it a few times and then he just kept hammering it. All he's doing is showing off for the crowd. That kind of destruction certainly can't be required for competition rock crawling.

It adds up very quickly...
3K for motor
1.5K for tranny
$200 for t-case
$450 for drivelines
$700 in axles
$600 for lift
$100 for body lift
$80 for front steering stabilizer
$2.8K for wheels/tires
That brings me to $9,430 not including cost of previous wheels and tires.

I sould have said rolling chassi, not just drivetrain. Sorry about that. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Nope. Sure as hell wouldn't go to see someone purposely destroy a good machine and never make the climb, either.
