My burb has been occasionally dieing when at idle. It is just like you turn the key off.:dunno: runs smooth, no faultering, no noticable anything, just stops. starts right back up no issues. Its only done it a few times, once while in park, 1 or 2 times in gear at a stop (one time it just quit and caught its self before the motor finished spinning) , once while doing a 3 point turn. Has only been happening since installing the tbi spacer and ignition upgrades. I'm pretty sure its in the ignition stuff but dont know what piece would do this:confused: Any body have an issue like this before?? Or any idea at all. heres a list of what was done

Tbi spacer
moroso coil
accel ignition controller in dizzy <- this has me wondering
new cap, wires, AC delco stock plugs

Wish I could help man. But I'm in the same boat. Seems as though I fix it for a few weeks; and then it rears it's ugly head again. If it didn't do it before, put your stock parts back in One at a time until the culprit is found. Then drink beer

Bad part is i may have to drive it for up to 2 weeks between part changes to see:doah: I'm going to start with the accel piece though cause EVERYBODY said not to let my stock one go too far:rolleyes:

fuel filter would most likely cause issues with surging or weak idle, this is just fine, runs like a top and in the blink of an eye,,,, quits

Is the Ignition module properly greased? Sounds like some sort of bad ground somewhere in your ignition system. Maybe the injectors :dunno:

By properly greased you mean.....

I've seen mention of dielectric grease with them but I didnt have instructions. I did use some that I had lying around in the wire plugs.

When I did mine I vasolined the terminals and the metal ground plate on the bottom
