You can mark the nut to pinion if you want, but as long as you use a little loc tite on the nut and dont get stupid tightening it you will be fine.
The in/lb wrench wont do you any good unless you tear it down to just pinion installed in housing.
Yeah, I was wondering that. Most things I have read just put the nut back where it was, with maybe a little bit more of a turn.
Also, they ALL take the driveshaft out. Why? Can't I just wire it up out of the way? Seems like an unnecessary pain in the ass.





), very leaky roof, it's just not nice any way I slice it. But that's what I have, no use griping about it. And I'm quite thankful for the 80% of the water that runs away from my parts pile. It's a lot nicer than having everything get completely drenched. And it's a huge step up from the apartment parking lots that we used to enjoy. So we're happy with where we're at.
