True Design Wheel is top notch

I would think the stock 16 or 16.5 center would work with the right hoop. GM did it with the old S10 styled steel wheels. I think the 14 and 15 model used the same center./QUOTE]

i'll sure mention that to him tomorrow...........

ok gents, i spoke with Jim tonight in regards to our buy.
he's aware of "group buys" and said there would be a 9% discount for 12 wheels. this is like saving the shipping give or take.....only caveat is that they all need to be the same wheel and the same size. lets say 15" X 8" for example, like i want :D. backspacing doesn't matter for each wheel. next jump is for 25 wheels at 14% discount, again the same size......i'll speculate he has a minimum order of hoops and centers to get or make.

there you have it...........anyone want a set of 15" X 8" dog dish steel wheels?

I might could go with 8's, kinda wanted 10's though...so what is the reg non-discounted price?

what are our powder coat color choices?.....silver?

$20 per wheel. the 15 X 8's were around $680+/- delivered to me in white powder, so figure $170ish per wheel delivered before the "group buy" 9% discount. i never asked about 15 X 10, but i doubt they would be much more.....

yellowK20 and USSkoval.....he does't make a 17 X 10 with a hub cap due to load ratings. he does make a 17 X 9 with a "soft 8" center. has a bunch of 2" holes going around it for $148 per wheel. powder is extra

Rene...he'll make a 16 X 8 for dog dish caps......$140 per wheel

he makes over 220 wheel styles and they're all not listed on the website.

Thanks...I guess I better call him to go over this, wonder if he sells bare wheels

i'm probably not gonna be able to participate in the group buy right now. Gotta put my cash to other things for the next while. I will likely bring this back up when I'm ready and see if there is any other interest then. It's a good price considering it's a custom rim. :waytogo:

i think the price is fine too.....considering this is what i want. they'll go on my truck with the tires i have now also. yup, i'll revisit this if there's an interest, i'm not in any immediate rush either. i got my caps though :D.

My hubcaps are coming, got a nice set. I cant decide if I want 15x8 or 15x10...other issue is the silver, looks kinda dark and its in the "special" colors on that link...hope he doesnt go crazy on the price

No I got the ones for more my year. These aren't them but this is the style

those look good too, they're way shallower than the older hubcaps like mine by about and inch or so. keep that in mind when deciding on your wheel width, if you go with 15x10s they may look too deep.

I've seen your hubcaps in 15x8s and they look good, but a deeper-dish wheel wouldn't look right IMO.

Oh okay thanks, honestly Im leaning towards 15x8 and 3.75" backspacing..............Whats the backspacing of your stock 15x8 hubcap wheels?...they look perfect imo

talked to Jim today, placing order this week. just need to decide between 8" wide or 10" wide and a backspacing
