I searched, but only came up with trail useage. I'll need to replace my Nitto Terra Grapplers in the next few months, and I'm thinking about replacing them with the STS. The 33x12.50-17s are 10 ply, and are rated at 3100 lbs. Don't get me wrong, the Nittos have been excellent, and I highly recommend them, but I just want to try something different, and the STS look pretty cool. I'm wondering about their tread wear on a heavy diesel (Dodge 2500 Mega Cab). I rotate my tires, at the maximum, every other oil change. Any one have any experience with them on a DD/Towrig, this truck sees almost no offroad use, all highway miles, about 12,000 a year. TIA.

That's kinda what I figured. I will probably stick with the Nittos. They wear like iron. I have 34000 miles on em, and they still have plenty of tread, I was just thinking about trying something different. Maybe the Mickey Thompson ATZ.

While I have no driving experiance with the Trxus tires, a friend of mine has them on his Super Duty. When he goes bogging with us, he's always getting stuck. Says they suck on snow too. He has some weird wear patterns going on too. But he also has the biggest set you can buy (44") and is wheeling with a stock 5.4 and 4.10's. So maybe you should just disregard this post.

I have heard good things about the MT ATZ's. What about a BFG AT? Doesn't look very cool, but a dam good tire.

Mickey Thompson ATZ is a damn good tire and have some killer looks too for an A/T. They are on the expensive side but they are worth it in my mind.
