The quad cab would be OK if I had toddlers or small kids, but right now I have a 4 month old and the wife is already buggin me about having another one. The problem with the Dodge is that it won't fit rear-facing baby seats without having to slide the seats forward, so it would suck for the first few years. The truck is going to serve as the family-hauler for long trips since the ther car is too small to fit even one kid and all of the associated kid accessories. My wife had to buy the ungodly-humongous stroller...coloradok5 said:Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you drive from the front seat? All kidding aside I really like the Dodge quad cab, looks like an extra cab with forward faceing doors, (I think that is really the market they were after) and looks like it has a chance of fitting in my garage. I guess at the moment I don't feel I need something as long as a semi trailer.
I hope the new Mega cab doesn't make it look like one of those airport limo's.![]()
None of these trucks would fit in my garage anyways, especially since I want a longbed for a slide-in camper.I'm back to leaning towards the GMC now, the Ford 6.0 just scares the hell out of me, there are alot of horror stories out there about it.
I think that I just need to get really really drunk and go buy a truck, that way my base instincts will take over and I'll get what I really want.
