TSL's in the front,Boggers in the back!

Re: TSL\'s in the front,Boggers in the back!

Thanks Tim, I just got kind of tired of it a little because I can take a joke but I just don't like it when I get" he has a bling truck, TRAILER QUEEN" when it is the opposite. I apologize to Shaggy for a snappy response but I did know you were joking but I could tell what you were implying which is what set me off.

This is a different subject but I am thinking of buying a 96' up blazer tahoe for a DD and am wondering how hard it would be to convert it to 3/4ton. I was thinking the rear would be easy, late model 14BFF and maybe the whole front suspension, axles, diff from a 3/4ton late model chevy and just switch the 2 under the tahoe, would it bolt strait across? I am thinking a nice reliable tahoe, 8" lift with some welds and 35" SSR"s or BFG mud terrains.

I'm not sure if the IFS will bolt straight across, but I do think that I know where you can get a complete 1 ton IFS setup from a '96.

Just straight axle the truck if you want to do it right. It can be done with minimal lift and it would be totally sweet.

I thought about that too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have run that setup with good results. Takes a load off of the front steering and stuff with the TSL's. If your doing real mud though, Boggers all the way around works better.
