so I just recently purchased a JD2 model 32 bender w/air over hydraulic ram, and I'm drawing up plans to build a stand that has rolling casters. I'm thinking I'm gonna use 2x2 square tubing, but I'm unsure what wall thickness I should use. The bender is going to mounted horizontal, so the stand is there to just carry the weight... would .120 wall be overkill?

That sounds like a good build idea mounting it horizontally. I agree .120 sounds good. I also have a JD32, but no air over hydraulic yet.
Have either of you guys seen that guy on YouTube that uses that trailer jack as a ram?

Not the prettiest thing but it works, I don't think that drill would care for heavier wall stuff.
That pretty awesome. Wonder how it would work on thinker tube.

You could always just turn the jack around and work it from the swing arm side of the bender so you could watch the degree wheel.
I was thinking about trying it but instead just buying some acme threaded rod and a big acme nut, that way you could get a finer pitch and make it easier on the drill.

That's crazy, get a corded drill...or a ton of batteries lol.
The Aoh ram and a bracket for it is cheap enough really. I'll probably just get it and build a bracket when the time comes. Haven't used my bender enough yet to warrant messing with it. Which is why I still don't have a stand 6 or 7 years after buying it lol

Here is my bender, JMR arms, SPX pump, recycled ram from another project, 1.25 SCH40 180* pro tools tie and a prince control unit. Im just over 1000 in it WITH the die set. A lot of stuff I bought second hand/used.

That looks good, the back legs look wide enough to keep it from wanting to capsize with long heavy wall tube
The true test will be when I load the bender with 2" tube.

Even so it'd be easy enough to get one of those table saw roller supports things to support the end of the tube
