Im Sure theres been plenty of threads bout them. Im gona make a set just havent found anything good as far as latch ideas. any pics of what u did would help. i have a spare set of doors (there toast) so i figured id cut the latches out and go from there. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. I have miller welder and all the other goodies. or even if you have an idea for one that you would like to build run the idea by me.:D
 
The doors are (toast) only thing good on the extra doors are the latches and hinges. there all dented to hell. besides i wana be able to get a better view when im playing
 
Never mind ur missing the point! Tube doors look cool on the road and still serve a purpose. i dont want it to look like a rag!

No looks pretty good. Just not what i want to do. I prefer the tube style. I'll still have my full doors that i can slap on in the winter time.
 
lol i kno your lookin for latch ideas but for the door ideas afterours and kert have some nice doors, shoot put in the latches and go from there. be creaive then everyone will come to u for their ideas
 
the latch setup that afterours uses is nice. swings shut and doesn't rattle. I personally think the welds on the tubes could be nicer, but I have only seen three sets in person.
 
maybe i should just rip the doors off and be done with it! I just dont want the hastle from the cops:mad: If i have a nice tube setup with a good latch then they cant bitch, even though they always do. its starting to look more legal all the time though! lol i just remebered i gotta put those stickers on the window before i take it for a drive next weekend!
 
if you run the truck on the street without doors in PA prepare to have your truck impounded. The inspection laws are very clear. you have to have the factory door.
 
Yeah jeeps have to have factory doors. It blows! the stupid thing is that a tube door is stronger than a factory door
 
if you have a jeep that the doors were optional then you do not have to run them. I am right down the road from Quadratec and you never see those guys running without doors. it's not worth the hassle from the cops. half the time they pull you over without even knowing the exact laws.
 
"The doors, except a tailgate on a pick-up truck, are not on the vehicle if originally fitted by the manufacturer." It just states doors in the inspection law for PA. Now i got to find what the state defines a door as. and then get it in writing so when i get pulled over and fight it i can win:D
