obviously you need a right and a left, and they come with strikers, but work with the factory striker as long as you remove the plastic roller (if still present on your truck)

those are the latches on my tube doors and they close just like a normal door, and open almost as easy.

Here they're not legal. The only vehicles legally able to run doorless here are Jeeps that didn't come with doors when new...and if they get sticky they can make you prove it never had doors. Doors on Jeeps were optional for many years.

man that makes me thank the arkansas dmv and cops being so easy...we can run doorless without hassle around here... but i'm still planning on a set of tube doors for the look...tube buggies can be tagged here

New Solution. Talked with my buddy who is an inspection mechanic last night and my other buddy who is a state trooper and came up with a good solution.

Im going to fab up a set of tube doors with the factory hinges and catch, use the factory handle inside and try to use one of the latches off a wrangler for the outside. then im going to mount snaps around the outer frame and have the upholstry shop make up canvas covers with snaps. so on the road it will look just like the soft doors on jeeps and then when im out on the trail just unsnap and roll up! I doubt ill have time this weekend to start but as soon as i do i will take lots of pics, an keep u posted on my progress/frustration!

Thanx seems easy just worried about the door handle and me fing it up.

But is the tube part just welded to the out side? or all the way thru.

Well ordered my steel today. got way more than i needed, probly enough to do 4 sets lol. im sure ill start fabin up all kinds of stuff this weekend once i get done with the doors. lol you should see the bumpers i made last winter when i was bored! Ill snap some photos this weekend. Hopefully i actually get something done other than a 30 pack of miller lite.
