Tube Doors!

Yes, they will fit trucks...unbolt your doors and bolt these on. Shipping, payments and schedules will be out shortly. Thanks!

i love the design, i would like to see like stated before diamond plate or something on the bottom to keep stuff from flying around and to help keep the elements out, also i would like to see something like a soft-top window like in a J@@p. they at least got that part right, how come no one has ever made one like that for a blazer?

yeah, i've seen that but i have a complete convertible 74. i guess i could just hack off the top part. i really want something like the j@@p that you can just pull the whole window unit out if you wanted to or just unzip. somebody has had to of done this before? i know i can't be the only one who wants this type of door.

one easy way to solve the problem of stuff rolling out of the rig when running tube doors might be to replace that cheesy little trim panel that is on the floor just inside the door with a piece of small angle iron. All you'd have to do is cut it to length and drill holes in it to match the factory trim panel ones. Presto, no stuff rolling out and no mod needed on the tube door. The way I figure, tolerances would have to be very tight indeed to get the tube door to stop your stuff from rolling out the door... and slight tweaks to the body or the tube door might result in them not being able to be opened or shut etc. I figure I'll maintain maximum utility by just leaving the tube door how it is and using other methods to keep stuff inside. Just my 2 cents.

OK, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I never have "stuff" rolling around on my floors! Put your "stuff" in a box or something then ya won't be worried about it fallin' out. Who needs quarts of oil, Bud cans, or donuts rollin' around under your feet....am I missing something? /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

i agree michael... but some people leave stuff laying around. Personally, when I get my rig ready for the trail, I assume that I am gonna roll it.. and think to myself "ok, what dont I want to fly over and bash me in the head or flying all over the trail?" Exactly... pretty much everything that could possibly be rolling around. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Hey Grant...we're still shooting for the $150-$175 range plus shipping. Looks more like $175 with the latches we're going with. We have all the parts fabbed up, we just need to get them all welded up. We apoplogize for the long lead time on these....making 2 of something is much easier than 20! We are getting closer to having them ready and I'll post shipping and final price info then. Thanks!

Awesome, please send one set to me at no charge, you can call it a "cost of doing business" or "advertising" if you will.

lol!! you suck Steve! Using your site to snag yourself all kinds of trick stuff! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif man am I jealous. I wish I had corporate sponsors and stuff, man that'd be nice!!!! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I don't want anybody's but mine. Just got petersens and saw the 4Runner with similar doors. Made me want them more. I don't think i'm in the first group, just curious if and when more would be available.

I just got all the parts in one place, so assembly should commence shortly. Sorry for the delay guys! We're still working on 'em. Hang in there!

Man that Peterson's article got me pumped also. Let me know when you get em done.
