I want to get a tubing bender. I have been looking at the William Lowbuck Bender , Pro Tools - 200 and this one Build Your Own

Anyone used either the Lowbuck or Pro - Tools benders?
Anyone build their own?

EDIT: Post 66 - I purchase a bender from tools4shop.com
Initial usage = Very nice bender and easy to use
Customer service = SUCKS

i had no idea the JD2 bender was so reasonable! looks like i'll be saving up!! bummer that the dies are so damn expensive tho!

the dies are where the most steel/machining is... so that is why they cost so much. I have a protools 105HD. I don't think either brand (protools or JD) are greatly superior to the other. If I was you, I'd just go on pirates vendor forum and buy whichever was cheapest to your door. They will PM you exact quotes if you ask for them. I got the protools because it was slightly less $ and has a better degree ring.

Maybe I should pass on that one. I will mostly use it for race car cages. Not fabricating buggies. Maybe a cage in my truck. I don't think you need bigger than a 90* angle very often.
