Tug of wars are stupid

Nah, it's under 7K easy, the V10 weighs a lot less than the PSD, PSD trucks weight right around 7K in stock trim, depending on bed/cab configurations.

My 1993 furd f250 standard cab longbed 4x4 7.3 diesel with nothing in the bed and no tailgate weighed in at 7200lbs.

I don't know where you got that information from but my room mates 99f-250 Ext. Cab 4x4 w the PSD weighs like 8900lbs....thats a little more that 7000lbs. And I don't know if the truck you are pulling against is a stick but if it has the six speed its 1st gear is 5.79:1 and with a t-case low of 2.72:1 and either 3.73s or 4.10 in the rearend thats a pretty healthy pull. Especially if it has the l/s in the rearend.

According to edmunds.com a 2006, 4 dr ,4wd, long bed, F250 with 5.4 ltr. is 6682 pounds. Give a few hundred for the V10 and your close to 7K

My f350 4-door longbed V-10 weighed 6851 with a full tank of gas just the other day My boss has an Identical truck with a Powersmoke and 7371 with 3/4 of a tank of fuel and a Ranchhand front end replacement

Where ever your room mate got his truck weighed might need their scale recalibrated.... wow. Check out the two posts under yours that I am quoting.:wink1:

8900 is the gvw;)

Possibly...:wink1: but still its a heavy mother compared to a k5...even with a v-10...and like I said if its got a stick...its got alot of grunt to put to the ground...but there is no way to be able to tell who will win there are lots of scenarios that could effect the outcome...but good luck none the less.
