fairly easy to replace the TBI with the TPI set up?

It's pretty straight forward. The intakes are a direct swap, the rest is just wiring. That was my intention, but I got a really good deal on a 5.3l so I no longer need this.

Ok let me talk it over with the master of finances (wifey) and see what I can squeeze out of her... LOL

I had a 5.3 for it but gave it to a friend as a full on swap just wasn't in the cards at the present time.
