I just picked up a new PPE hot +2 for my LB7 duramax! I can't jack it up all the way though til I upgrade my tranny. Oh what fun I will have though!

Those are on the way as well along with a manifold that is less restrictive and already threaded for a pyrometer probe.

yep, me likey Its has been a long time coming that I have wanted to do this. I am not stopping there though. When I get done it will be a low 12 high 11 second truck. I am going to pick me up a Stage 3 Transmission from ATS to handle all this stuff though because that stock allison is only good up to around 500HP.

500hp for two maybe three passes- daily driver duty I would put it in tow haul and/ or shut overdrive off
Start off with the TransGo Jr kit and get an egt gauge 1st, and a boost gauge second.
AND!!!! I am assuming you already upgraded the exhaust at least -and maybe the intake

Until you get the basics upgraded I would stay away from the hot tunes
and ALWAYS change your fuel filter every 3rd oil change and your external spin on tranny filter every other oil change. I can go on and on..... but I won't. If you need any help or have any questions lemme know. I have done alot of work to alot of Duramaxes. And they all make great power and don't break shtuff.

I didnt mean 500HP on a daily driver status. Guess I should have clarified. Daily driver duty wont see anything over level 3. exhaust, intake, and gauges have all been ordered and will be put on before the tuner gets gooked up. I am not interested in cooking my motor!!!!
