Nice score!
Don`t know anything about it, but I bet it would be fun!
Seems to look like a good quality kit.:waytogo:

No thats the "draw threw box that goes between the carb and manifold. 82355 was asking about the turbo impeller housings.

After a 3rd look you're correct. He is screwed unless he has the housing or knows what housing is required.

No. That is the carburetor mount. It is the same object from a different angle that he is holding in the 3rd picture.

Martin

Yep, figured that out after looking a 3rd time at all the pics up close.

At least that gjuys has the housing included. I did a search myself and found that same ad earlier.

Dad said it was really expensive, bought it for his Vette and never installed it. I've never seen another good score!!

It is missing the compressor housing and the exhaust housing but a turbo shop in salt lake city has the parts for 150$ . The rest of the kit seems complete ,

The 8.5:1 low compression 454s of 73+ is an awesome basis for a turbo setup...

Ive been mulling over evil thoughts of boosting my big block for the cutlass but I figure nearly 600hp NA will be enough... for now :D

That's what the instructions say for compression to, also says no lumpy cams and works best on a stock setup . I think a small b&m blower will work better for me anyone want to trade ? I still think it belongs on a retromod or street truck ,I don't want to hammer it sense it is so rare . Someone might be able to mount up a more common turbo.

those are lots on V8s that are natural gas generators around here. now a days the 8.1L aka. 8100 vortec does the same thing. lots of gensets with them running on natural gas. we sell and service tons of them.

This kit is for sale ,it's been siting on my shelf too long and needs to find a good home .

It looks neat. While in the face of modern compressor technology it's obsolete, it'd be an interesting build on a vehicle that someone was looking to be unique yet period-accurate.
