He has a '96 12v, you cant program one of those, as they are purely mechanical.

the new 6.0 powertroke ford engine  but i wouldnt think a diesel would be too good for a mud bog vehicle, just my opinion though

The new 6.0 PSD isnt much good for anything, let alone mud boggin

6.0 doesn't impress me much at all. Seen one pull right after they came out and it was whimpy, sounded crazy with straight pipe though. But that was back when they just came out and I think all that was done to it was the exhaust.

I have a friend who he and his dad have 6.0s both have blown turbos and both have dead glow plugs

that truck is pretty sweet. dual stacks and lots of black smoke, i love it. it'd make any enviromentalist cry in thier chai tea tho.:D

i love the new 6.0's like the 2005 ones, they are soo powerful
they made a new design on them i think they are more powerful then the other diesels by far

the 6.0 has the same HP and less Torque than the Cummins "600". Though I have a friend who drove a 600 and says he was utterly unimpressed. Like I said I was unimpressed with the 6.0 but the one I know of is a dually crew cab F350 and the friend who drove the 600 has a built up 12V 2500 dodge that is one mean ride.

I've driven an '04 6.0 with an 80HP Predator chip. I was disapointed in it a lot.
It's power number clearly fall short of the Cummins and Dmax.

I drove a stock 6.0 PSD in a one ton cube van that was empty. Pretty light box on it too. I wasn't that impressed at all with the power and really hated the drive by wire. I have never driven a CTD or Dmax yet though.
