As long as the tv cable is as tight as it can possibly be at wide open throttle you will be fine. The AFB style carbs do not have ideal geometry but they aren't horrible either and you can make this trans function without a special correction lever, (although it would be better with than without). What you are shooting for with any carb/cable set up is about an inch and an eighth of total cable travel from idle to wide open and at wide open position the cable should be as tight as it can possibly be. You may make some finite adjustments from there, but if you have those two parameters then your trans will function within the pressure ranges it was intended to. You can count on that
