so if 1 stick is front and othr is the rear like is stated and shown here
front 2h 2h rear
.......4h 4h
........n n
.......4l 4l
wouldn't these 2 diff configs be same(bold is shifter position)
front 2h 2h rear
........4h 4h
.........n n
........4l 4l
front 2h 2h rear
.......4h 4h
.........n n
........4l 4l
wouldnt both of those shifter positions have the front end only, in hi range? or would the first not pull at all, and you say you can't have the front in 4hi and the rear in 4lo?
i know some of the strictly mud pit trucks only!,..around here will run 4.11 in the rear and 3.42 in the front or 4.56/rear&3.73/front or 3.73/rear&3.08/front,..so front tires turn alot faster than the rears and keep the nose of the truck up, granted they can only be in 4x while in the pit, and as soon as they start out of the soup onto ground w/traction, they have to shift out of 4wd. and just about all of them run 10bolts front&rear (even the high powered trucks)for ground clearance, if they break they just throw another 10b under it, since they are plentiful!
