There is also the 22(?) gallon inboard tank used on the 88+ (new body style) cab & chassis models. These had a much narrower frame than the pickups of the same era. Measures 64" x 11 1/2" x 14"

I picked up a diesel blazer tank just because the price was good. I am not sure is it would work, but here is the link.

IMO the K5 tank is a good fit (besides the passenger side shock on a 1-ton).

being that my k30 is so long, im afraid that the tank would get beat up because of the departure angle. id rather have either twin tanks in stock location or the main tank in the bed, so i could run 64's and have the tank out of harms way.
