twin turbo kit?????

Link doesnt work for me but assuming it is the cheapo setup.

Factor in new turbo's. Those china ones blow seals quick!
New wastegates. I wouldnt trust those.

Tuning, and then the fact that the manifolds usually are made of thinner material and crack around the flanges, i would stay away

it does look fun...partially because it has about 80 billion pieces :thumb:. chris is probably right though. unfortunately these days one must take a guilty (of making cheap crap) until proven innocent approach to purchases.

I would rather buy an 8-71 blower instead of that. These heavy trail ridin trucks run slow and need torque not Top end horse power. Turbos like to give what they call turbo lag. I don't believe that would be any fun trying to make ur entry ride up a waterfall cliff or thru a narrow axle tweakin canyon. The reason I would try a 8-71 Instead of a 6-71 is 10 lbs. Of boost instantly. And the blower is turnin slower creating a little less heat and less wear on the components. Most likely just as u would with the turbo system a real look at and work would be needed on the cooling system. Blowers and turbos the same don't like to idle forever long. A couple years back I was tossin around on here about either goin e85 or propane with 8-71 blower. Both fuels run much cooler then gas with a better potential of more power then with gas.

thanks for the input guys i appreciate it, now i have a better idea what to do when its time for a rebuild

word, in my experience 99% of vehicle related stuff on EBAY is complete crap.

I remember when I was like 17 I bought some $40 coil overs for my car off ebay and found out instantly why real coil overs cost 20x more
