Two 86 F350 4x4s Mayo & Ketchup

White turd is starting to grow on me.
But then again I have always had a thing for a cab&chassis. Probably because I always knew something kinda cool was getting ready to happen.

I'm stoked. Man, I bet some of the Ford fanatics might cringe at the thought of what you are up to.

Service box!?
Yeah but it's kind of a special one. Looks like this one.

I gotta tell yea, this thing will never Look as good as what GM offered But mechanically it's kinda got it going on.

High Pinion 60
Dual tanks that fill from the same side.
Looooog leaf springs. I bet ORD could build some spaghetti springs for this.
Ground clearance of a lifted truck. It does have factory blocks in the rear. Sits higher then any stock K30 I've ever seen.
Factory hydraulic clutch and plenty of room under the hood so it will be easy to convert to a L29/4500.........
errr what?

I keep forgetting to get interior pics, except for a newer trailer brake controller [hooked up properly, no scotch locks] it's clean and original right down to the factory radio.

My left wrist/hand decided to swell up a bit and become totally useless 2 days ago but I still managed to get the bed installed tonight with my right hand.
I'm left handed.
Level 57 has not been much fun.

Heavy duty camper jacks for the win on lowering it in place. I got a couple of bolts in existing holes but there is no way I'm gonna try and hold on to a drill right now. Looks kinda funny with the almost flat/tiny tires I put on the back for the bed install.

Looks cool! Very forestry. When I was growing up on the coast of BC Canada all the forestry companies had Fords about the same area 85/90. I went to school for the industry but went a different direction. Still fond memories of that style truck!

I have always liked those high clearance oil field service beds. Seen some sweet lifted trucks running them.

That bed is killer.
Thanks, I removed the original bed because I needed access to both fuel tanks, both of the front stake pockets had severe stress cracks from I believe the camper hold downs and it had a flip over ball under the camper that had rusted/loose bolts.
I still have NOS, still in boxes, Ford bedsides for both sides and the original bed I will stash away for the next owner.

I have been trying to decide on a general look for this truck.
Military = Camo or Desert Sage, stencil tire pressure, push bumper/brush guard and such
Emergency Response= Red or Neon Green, lightbar, spotlights etc
Forestry= Light green, brush protectors and winches on both ends, spotlights..

Regardless of theme/color it is getting equipped the same.
Boss V Plow.
Custom bumper with winch.
LED work lights all around.
Some type of crane or slide in tow unit. I have a few or source a 220 or 440.
Full compliment of hand tools, small air compressor, torch set.
