Something tells me he'll have a hard time finding u-bolts in Romania, and probably not for a decent price. Maybe so, I'm no expert on Romania.
I bolt/unbolt my wheels pretty regularly, don't replace wheelstuds, not sure why the u-bolts can't be reused. (shh, I did, they've only lasted 30 or so years, 6 or so that I've owned my truck,and I check them regularly just because) I suspect whether it's said or not, a whole lot of us have reused our u-bolts and don't have problems. They aren't torque to yield.
There are a few posts on here regarding reusing u-bolts, read them and decide for yourself what is acceptable. I re-used jsut about every other fastener on the truck, what are 8 more?
BTW, I'm not posting this to turn it into a thread about reusing u-bolts. As I said, it's been discussed on this board, if you want to read about it, search for, and read them. A couple easily found have over 10 responses.
