U-joint brand quality....

since i decided to hold off on my 1 ton swap and stay with my 10 bolts for a while, i need to do my U-joints..

i called my parts guy, who usually has a couple brand choices, but in this case he only has Precision available, in standard and heavy duty.. i was kinda hoping he had some Spicer or something.. is Precision a decent brand for u-joints? will the HD's be a decent u-joint?

You can buy spicers via the internet or your local parts guy can order them. A high quality spicer is in the $30 range so why skimp? If you do order them, waiting a week is worth it.

he said the HD Precision would be about 20...

believe me i have no issues with getting quality parts.. it keeps me up at night if i don't buy the best

he didn't have the HD's in stock, take a day.. if he can get me spicers, i'll go that way.. if not, i'll just have em get the HD Precision... they only need to last thru the yr hopefully...
